Captain Favour Aroyemah shared insights into the intense Lagos derby, acknowledging the anticipated challenge posed by TradeSafe FC, desperate to recover from two consecutive losses.
Reflecting on the game’s essence, he remarked, “It was the game of who wants it more, and we showed them that we want it more, and I’m happy for the win.”
Pressed on the noticeable shift in Interlagos’ performance compared to their previous six matches, Captain Aroyemah attributed their success to a commitment to maintaining a consistent standard.
He highlighted the team’s recent string of positive results and emphasized quiet confidence in their ability to secure points, irrespective of the opponent or venue.
With their recent climb out of the relegation zone, attention turned to Interlagos’ upcoming home game against Warri Wolves.
When asked about the possibility of securing a playoff spot, Captain Favour Aroyemah remained grounded, stating, “We take our game step by step. We just come back on Monday and train for Warri Wolves. We don’t put them in mind too much. We think more about ourselves, how to improve our games, things we did right and things we did wrong. We just take it game by game, that’s all.”
