According to the official match report, Kebbi United’s Welfare Officer, Rilwanu Auwal, Kit Manager, Babangida Shehu, and Assistant Kit Manager, Faruku B.B, were found guilty of encroaching onto the pitch and threatening match officials.

Invoking Article 16.1.1 of its regulations, the league imposed a fine of N1,000,000 on Kebbi United for breaching its rules. Additionally, the three officials have been banned from all league-related activities for the remainder of the 2024/2025 season.

The league emphasized that this ruling was made under its summary jurisdiction, although Kebbi United retains the right to appeal the decision to the Disciplinary Committee within 48 hours of receiving the verdict.

This decisive action highlights the NNL’s commitment to maintaining discipline and ensuring the safety of match officials during and after games.
