Othuke Egbo 45 minutes strike was enough to secure Apex Krane three points in a 1-0 victory when they play host to Ibom youth at the Agbor Township Stadium on Saturday.
Othuke Egbo, the former Delta Force striker who was on the score sheet in the 1-2 away victory against Fc One Rocket on matchday 15, increased his tally to 8 goals to contend among the highest goal scorers in the Match Day 16th of the second tier of the Nigeria league.
The Tonobok Okowa boys will travel to Ijebu-Ode to face Group B2 leaders Remo Stars on Wednesday in the midweek fixtures.
Remo stars defeated Apex Krane at home 0-1 to continue their run for the Super Eight contenders.
The Krane are now 10th on the log with 17 points closely followed by Joy Comets and Godosky Fc who are 16 points apiece and to play at home in their next game.
