All new clubs of the Nigeria National League (NNL) were on Tuesday in Abuja given orientation training as part of deliberate efforts to be inducted into the league.
The sustainable building strategy delivered saw eight of the clubs promoted from the National-Wide League One, Nigeria’s third tier league, and the four teams who dropped from the Premier cadre to the NNL converged on the White Hart hotel and Apartments,Wuye Abuja for the induction.
The induction dealt on the status and structure of the league’s framework ,funding and it’s essence.
Club licensing system,personnel, administrative and legal criteria.
Equally,it touched on players and coaches welfare issues ,media provisions and management .
NNL Head of Operations,Mr.Emmanuel Adesanyà while inducting the new clubs into its fold , expressed believe that the scheme will help them integrate properly and fast too.
“It is our strong believe that this exercise will help put all of us on one page ,it is calculated to intimate us better with the dos and don’ts of Association football which we practice especially as it is in the NNL”
For us the league in NNL is a big deal and we must get it right from onset,it is all about professionalism and it’s tenets”
“As we welcome you,we urge you to be prepared in all ramifications as a professional club ready to battle in the most important league in Nigeria”
Emmanuel Adesanya ended with a promise to deliver a better and improved league 2022/2023 season.
Chairman Anambra State Football Association the august guest at the occasion,Mr.Chikelue Iloenyosi speaking admonished the new entrants to adhere to the the rules and work accordingly to raise standards.
“You must avoid the syndrome of a win at all cost especially when playing at home,and conducts that are capable of bringing the league to disrepute”
“Only discipline and utter professionalism can catapult the league to the height we all desire,so every body must play his or her part .
The newy inducted clubs are Heartland ,Kano Pillars ,Katsina United and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries from the Nigeria Professional Football league.
While those from the NLO are :Aspire FC,FC One Rocket,Hype Buzz FC,FC Ebedei,Madiba FC; Mailantarki Care FC,Police Barretta FC and Smart FC .
