With days left to the start of the new Nigeria National League season, Giant Brillars FC midfielder, Saliman Muyideen has said the club is almost ready for the season.
In preparation for the season, Giant Brillars defeated Team Lagos in a friendly game at the Soccer Temple, Agege today.
In a post-match interview with Sports247, Muyideen said they are yet to hit 100% fitness.
“I would say we are not far from ready and that is because we are yet to be 100% fit. The season is close but when it starts, we will be fully ready for the season.”
On the opponent, Team Lagos who are preparing for the National Sports Festival, the midfielder said they are a good side.
“They are a very good side and very talented side, I must say.”
Giant Brillars FC are drawn in B1 of the Southern Conference of the NNL with top clubs like Shooting Stars of Ibadan, Vandrezzer FC, Delta Force, and a host of others.
