Osun United Football Club will begin 2020/2021 Nigeria National League (NNL) on Saturday, January 30, 2021, when they take on Go Round FC at the Krisdera Hotel Stadium, Omoku, Rivers State.
This came to the fore during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nigeria National League which held on Friday, January 15, in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State where the draws were made in the presence of representatives of all 46 teams.
The Omoluabi Giants, who acquired the NNL slot of Akajiobi FC, Owerri a few months ago were house in the same Group B1, Southern Conference with their perennial neighboring rivals, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan and Ekiti United.
Also in the same Group B1 with the Omoluabi Giants include Stationery Stores of Lagos, Calabar Rovers of Cross Rivers State, Giant Brilllars of Enugu, Dynamite FC of Edo, and Nilayo FC of Abeokuta.
The rest group opponents are Vandresser FC of Akwa Ibom State, Delta Force of Delta, and Nnewi United of Anambra State.
While Osun United will trade tackles with Go Round in the opening fixtures of Group B1, other interesting fixtures are 3SC versus Calabar Rovers, Stationery Stores up against Giant Brilllars, and Dynamite FC hosting Ekiti United. Other matches are Delta Force taking on Vandresser while Nnewi United will be guests of Nilayo FC in Abeokuta.
