NNL 2020/21: Gateway United Will Bounce Back In The Next Game – Akinsemoyin Vows

Gateway United FC creative midfielder, Tunde Akinsemoyin has promised the supporters of the club that they will do better in their next league game.

This is coming after Gateway suffered a 3-0 defeat away to Joy Cometh FC in their Sunday’s 2021 Nigerian National League (NNL) opener.

Speaking with Sports247, Akinsemoyin vowed that his team will do their best to get a win in their second game.

“I promise them that in our second game we will try to do more better than this one. We will try to get the win,” he said.

He added that he felt his side could have gotten something more from the game and never thought they would lose by a three-goal margin.

“I think that in this game we could have gotten a point. We didn’t think that we could lose 3-0. But this game just went like that.”
