NNL 2020/2021: Promotion Is Achievable, Kunle Oyeleye

The Acting General Manager of Crown Football Club Of Ogbomoso, Mr Oyekunle Oyeleye, has reiterated that the Ajilete Warriors will leave no stone unturn at ensuring the club gains promotion to the elite division in the yet to commence 2020/2021 Nigeria National League(NNL) season.

The former Administrative Secretary said this today Monday 31st August, 2020, in a meeting with the management staff at the Club Secretariat.

” We bless God for counting us worthy to witness this day. Special appreciation goes to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde for his supports to the team as well as our Youth and Sports Commissioner, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, for his giant strides. The task ahead of us demands calling us together so that we can begin to fashion ways out before the league resumes as proper preparation prevents poor performances”.

” We need to be more united and loving than before. A more formidable house gave us the second promotion ticket this day 31st August 2013 at the Soun Stadium, here in Ogbomoso via a spot-kick which was classically converted by Bode Daniel. I saw us gaining promotion that year before the season started because our preparation that year was outstanding in terms of commitment, love, dedication, and loyalty”.

” We can still repeat that feat if we put our house in order. I charge us to work in unity, be more prayerful, and with God by our sides we shall get there”, the Acting GM submitted.

The Team Manager, Mr Suleiman Monsur, who spoke on behalf of the technical crew appreciated the Acting GM and pledged to work in unison towards achieving the set goals.

” I thank the AGM for a meeting of this nature, though, not the first time he will gather us like this. I am hopeful this will be a continuous exercise. We must all sit tight and be focused to make our taget realistic. We, will do our best and Insha Allah we will make the good people of Oyo State happy at the end of the season”, Ojotoro as the TM is fondly called said.

Tayo Oyebowale, the Welfare Officer of Crown FC, also responded on behalf of other staff.

“We thank Governor Seyi Makinde for priotizing our welfare. We are so grateful to the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, for bringing more sanity into the system. We will work as one big family and we believe that the Lord will crown our efforts with resounding success”.

Mr.Oyeleye Oyekunle further implored all members of staff to be cautious of COVID-19 and be very obedient to all the rules aimed at curbing the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.
