Female national team, Super Falcons reserve goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has ruled out any form of depression among the Nigerian players, as she says they remain in high spirits, despite their opening group loss to South Africa at AWCON 2018.
Heading into Wednesday’s second group match against Zambia in Cape Coast, Ghana, Nnadozie told sports247.ng that she and her teammates are determined to turn the tide around.
The former Falconets goalkeeper and Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt star expressed confidence in the Falcons’ ability to get maximum three points against Shepolopolo and reignite their semi-final hopes.
Nnadozie declared: “We are not downcast, we are not depressed. All the players are in high spirit and we are ready to do battle against Zambia.”
