Rivers Angels goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has expressed joy over her invitation to Nigeria’s female national team, Super Falcons, just few months after she starred in the junior squad, Falconets.
Although Nnadozie was one of Nigeria’s biggest revelations at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France, the agile keeper told sports247.ng that she never thought her promotion would come so soon.
Nnadozie is now thinking big as she joins the Falcons’ camp for training towards the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations next month in Ghana.
She says her target is to make the final squad that will try to defend Nigeria’s title at AWCON 2018 in November.
“I am happy with my invitation to the Super Falcons. It’s a fast promotion for me from the junior team, but I promise to make the best of it.
“This invitation is a big challenge for me, as I am still a very, very young keeper, but I promise to give my best in camp among all the others.”
