“During the game in the first half, I wasn’t in the game really but after encouragement from my teammates and captain my game improved. I really thank my players and coaches, also and I know my performance will be better in the next game,” were the words of Jude Egbahon, a defensive midfielder for Collin Edwin SC on his performance in his side’s 4-2 win over Madiba FC.
Trying to further explain why he struggled to get into the game, the midfielder hinted that it could be because it’s his first start for the team and so he isn’t really balanced but he’s focused on getting put on a better show in the next game.
“No, we’re not underrating any team. Everyone came here for a reason, to achieve a goal and we’ve promised ourselves that we’re going to win the league,” Jude said on not getting too confident and writing off teams while also praising teammate Orji Martins who he described and his “motivator” throughout the game.
