Alimcity FA have started plotting a winning strategy that will help them revive their fortunes in the new season of the Nationwide League One (NLO).
This is a sequel to their 6-1 loss to Spartans of Agege on the first day of the Lagos zone at Maracana Stadium, Ajegunle; after which the coach of the side, Chakes Adamolekun admitted they have to think of better tactics.

Adamolekun blamed the awful loss on late preparations by the team and his players’ inability to follow technical instructions.
He, however, promised to work on all those lapses ahead of their next match, which will be versus F8Ballers, who won their first fixture by a lone goal on the same day at Maracana Stadium.
Adamolekun admitted, “Yes, it’s not what we planned for but, in football, when you lose focus and forget your instructions, you know what to expect.
“We made the first big blunder in the ninth minute. Our left-back nodded the ball into the 18-yard box instead of out up on the air, and the opponent took advantage of it, resulting in the first goal.
“The rest of the goals were due to not following instructions, as a result of the early goal conceded. We never planned on conceding so many goals, but that’s football. You either win, you lose, or you draw.”
The disheartened coach then projected towards the future, with determination to put the defeat aside and plan on how to return to winning ways in their next match.
He added: “We take the defeat in good fate and plan towards our next match. We will come out with a new strategy, which will not be too long to find out.
“Having lost this game with a wide margin, we have to go back to the drawing board and work on some lapses we have noticed.
“We came into this game very late because we prepared within a short time of just 14 days, while some others had been preparing for four to five months.
“But, notwithstanding all that, with our experience today, we’ll go back to the drawing board to make sure the next fixture is for us.”
