It was a five-goal thriller when Buruj faced off with FC Bulmaro in a bid to end strongly even as the NNL ticket seems to have run away from both teams. Bulmaro defeated Buruj 3-2 to earn all three points and the coach believed his player’s actions were the cause.
“No game is easy, every game has its challenges and I think the boys underestimated Buruj but credit to Buruj as they made it very difficult for us. It’s a lesson for us to always respect our opponents and take every game with its challenges,” coach of Bulmaro, Bright Ozebagbe told Sports247.
Bulmaro FC now have twelve points from six games with two more games left to play but they’re behind leaders Destiny Boys FC of Ikorodu who are currently on 17points with a game more.
With two games left to play for Bulmaro, the coach has vowed to look into the game with its peculiarities. “Every game has its own challenges like I said. Our next game is against Iganmu FC, a very good side. So we’re going to plan and hopefully, our plans will work for us,” Bright said.
“I’ve learned not to make irrational decisions in those difficult moments because it’s football. Sometimes things might go your way and sometimes not so I’ve got to be patient then make decisions,” the coach said as regards what he’s picked so far in the league.
