Even as different leagues and competitions are gearing to kick start in the coming weeks and months, clubs have continued to engage in high-intensity friendlies to sharpen their preparations.
Ottasolo, despite being hit with different injury crisis have still made efforts to ensure the welfare of their players are considered and players commend their efforts.
“I really commend the president [of our club] because he has been doing a lot. From Lagos, down to Port-Harcourt, to here now, he’s been doing a lot, checking us in the camp which has really been helping the team and boosting the morale of the players,” said Adewale Adebayo, scorer of the winning goal for Ottasolo.
Adewale started from Abete in Iwaya, Lagos, after which he had moved to Anointing Fc and Yaba United where he played in the Lagos Junior League. He also had about a three years stint with MFM feeders where he played in the Amateur League and still hopes to play professionally in the near future.
