After losing 2-1 to Valiant FC in the opening fixture, highly rated Collin Edwin returned to winning ways with a slim 1-0 victory over Cincinati FC. Speaking to Sports247, Endurance Ukaki, player for Collin Edwin praised his side’s performance and that of the opponents too.
“They were a tough side so we tried our best. Everyone coming to play us is coming with everything. We lost the last match because we underrated our opponent but today, we worked very hard in training and put it into the match today,” Endurance said.
The win means Collin Edwin now have three points from six in two games and they move slightly up in the table from the Sagamu center and look forward to the next game which Utaki feels his side will top the group again like they did last season.
