Samson Ubong, the scorer of the lone goal for Buruj FC in their recent NLO match against Okaka FC where they conceded 3-1, shared his thoughts on the game’s outcome and his team’s performance.
“I think we did well. In my opinion, this game was better than our last match,” Ubong expressed to Sports 247.

“We fought for it. But in a game, we have one side that needs to lose, draw, or win. But today we fell on the losing side.”
Despite the defeat, Ubong maintained a positive outlook, expressing gratitude and determination for future matches.
“But we thank God, tomorrow we are going to go again harder,” he affirmed.
When asked about the team’s missed opportunities and any underlying issues, Ubong attributed it to a lack of communication but remained optimistic about improvement.
“I would just put it that way that its lack of communication. But we are working on it,” he explained.
“I know that our next game will be better than the one we played today.”
Ubong’s reflections underscore the team’s resilience and commitment to growth, despite the setback, as they look ahead to their upcoming matches in the Nationwide League One.
