Coach Ogunbanjo Olawale of Ojodu City shared his thoughts on his team’s performance following their impressive 3-0 victory over Sporting Lagos in the ongoing NLO match at the Maracana pitch.
“It was a very tightly contested game, and kudos to both teams,” Coach Olawale remarked in an interview with Sports 247.

“They really gave us a good fight, but we were able to come out victorious by some little difference during the moment of the game.”
When asked about preparations for their next game, Coach Olawale emphasized the importance of building on their strengths and maintaining their momentum.
“We’ll go back to the drawing board, we’ll continue to work on our strengths, and then come out for a stronger game,” he stated.
“Playing every 72 hours is demanding, so we just keep encouraging them and ensuring they stay focused.”
Reflecting on their previous matches, Coach Olawale highlighted the team’s resilience and ability to secure victories through disciplined performances.
“All the games have been challenging, but we have consistently emerged victorious by capitalizing on our strengths,” he explained.

“We know it’s going to be tough, but we have prepared well,” he affirmed.
“We are not underestimating any opponent. We will take each game as it comes and continue to perform at our best.”
