Well, not many teams came with the mindset of winning the league, that must be said. Nonetheless, not many of them came with the mindset of ever conceding six or even seven in a game. Metropolitan FC is definitely one of those.
The team has won some, picked draw but when they lose, they can also lose badly. It’s five losses in a row for the club and they have conceded 28 goals in the process, scoring twice, now that’s scary! Lost 2-1, then 6-1 to Collin Edwin FC, and now 7-0 to Valiant FC. Wheeew!!
John Abalaka, Sporting Director of Metropolitan FC explained to Sports247 that’s it’s a process and a learning curve of experience for the players.
“It has been well. It’s a learning curve for Metropolitan who are having their first experience of the NLO,” he said. “The stadium has been shut for nearly a year and as a result of that, we had the opportunity of training only four times before the competition but we have not failed,” he said.
