Lagos-based side, Collin Edwin FC picked up their third win in the Nationwide League One and kept a clean sheet in the process, giving them nine points from twelve.
Goalkeeper and captain of the side Ifeanyi Okeke was pleased with his side’s performance and the clean sheet for him as well.
“It (the clean sheet) is a morale booster to me. Keeping a clean sheet in his game gives me the confidence to look forward to the other games and hopefully, we’ll do better than we did today,” Ifeanyi told Sports247.
Speaking on the quality of the opponents, the captain said “They gave us a good fight. They are a very good side, they played well and we also played well and we’re happy to get the win.”
