Sunday Adetunji scored his third goal of the NLO 2020/2021 season in two games for Iganmu FC in its clash with Zenith Emperor football club, Saturday in Ikenne.
The former Plateau United striker put his side ahead with the first goal of the match. However, it was not enough to give his team all three points as it lost 2-3 in the very pulsating match played at the Remo Stars International stadium.
Speaking after the game, the team manager of Iganmu FC, Kabiru Alade rued the missed chances by his team during the game.
” It was a good game. Painfully, we lost several scoring opportunities. However, I believe the boys have learned their lessons and I believe we shall come back stronger and better in subsequent matches, ” he said.
