Danaz FC ran out 2-1 winners over Gadmaj FC in the Nationwide League One Division Three matchday in Ikenne Centre as teams have come together to fight for promotion into division two of the league.
Emmanuel Precious told Sports247 how happy he was with the victory and also how determined the team is to gain promotion into the next division.
“The game was a very good one. We lost many chances and in the next game, we need to play better in order to gain promotion because I believe we’re not here to go back home but we’re here to go to the next level,” Precious said.
The lad also revealed his desire to play in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as well as in Europe after good stincts with the club, gaining promotion with them all the way from the state league, and now eyeing NLO2.
“My expectations and plan currently is to play in the NPFL as a footballer. I prefer to play in the country first before I make my name all over the world and that’s my aim,” the player added.
