Head coach of BYT FC, Akande Fatai has said that his team wants to win as many points as possible in the NLO 2022/2023 season following the 3-0 victory against Okaka FC yesterday.

BYT FC were beneficiary of a goalkeeping error from Okaka FC Akingbade after spurring a soft ball he should have softly and easily gathered, BYT FC further added a second and a third in quick succession to coup all maximum three points.
“To God be the glory, in the first half, we made many forward moves but we were not doing very well, some of those players psychologically were not stable and it’s part of the coaching ethic, so, I had to be brave enough to make the change,” Akande Fatai said in his post match assessment in an interview with Sports247.ng.
“Games come with different momentum and approach, if I didn’t make that change, it might cost us and when did the change, we were effective and took our chances.”
“The goal scorer who finally won the game for us with his brace is the second choice striker and I know quiet well that he’s effective on the left, the two goals were similar and that’s why I put him on the wide area,” he explained in justification of his selection.
In the next game, Akande Fatai who is also an FCAAN instructor confidently assured that his team are prepared as they have to take as many points as quickly as possible.”
