NLO 2022/2023: ‘We Are Yet To Hit Top Gear’, Coach Miller Cautions Players Not To Be Carried Away By Recent Results As He Demands More

Master warrant officer Miller F.O, coach of Admiralty FC has called for caution in the camp of his boys advising them not to get carried away by recent results after the big win against Zenith Emperor FC insisting that they are yet to hit their top gear form.

Admiralty FC continued their good run with a resounding 5-1 victory against a struggling Zenith Emperor side who remains winless in the campaign, not just without victory, they have conceded the highest number of goals in their group.

Just moments after the game in a post match assessment with Sports247.ng, Coach Miller didn’t deny how good it is to win but he then calls for calmness as there’s still room for more.

“We thank God that we won today, now my boys are getting to their form now and hopefully, we hope to hit top gear, so expect a different Admiralty FC on Sunday.”

On if there’s pressure on him by the management, “I’m in total charge of this team, I make the changes solely but I understand, the fans want to win and the management expects more but we are all one, only me cannot do it alone as a tree cannot make a forest, so I need the ideas of others, not that they are forcing me to do what I don’t want to do.”

Concludingly, “For now, we are not up to our form, there’s still more to come, Coach Miller said.”

Admiralty FC will play host in their next game against Sporting Lagos FA on matchday five as they look to continue their run and compound more misery on the winless Lagos based academy.
