23mins into the first half Buruj Football Club striker Nurudeen Adebeshin made a fabulous move to score the first goal for the team by heading a crossing to beat Future Stars Goal Keeper.
Buruj FC Strikers were combining brilliantly and looking likely to score every time they ventured forward.
Dappa Da-Asawo a young and skillful attacking Midfielder of Buruj FC fight hard amidst opponents but was unable to convert his chances to a goal.
Future Stars FC almost opened their scoring inside 35mins forcing a good save from Horlah Buruj FC Goal Keeper as he made a quick reaction to go higher to get the ball.
There was still an awful lot to do but some of our players did it with superb awareness, strength and finesse.
Future Stars intensified the pressure as the conclusion neared, with our two goals lead a delicate one.
Few mins to the end of the first half Buruj FC striker Noah Salaudeen scored the second goal for the team via placing the ball to beat Future Stars goal Keeper to the net.
The first half lasted for 60mins with Buruj FC taking the lead with 2 – 0.
During the second half Future Stars begin to bounce back to shape with their team coming forward after Buruj FC made substitutions for their Strikers and defenders to give players who came for screening the chance to explore.
They pushed forward trying to get a goal in other to reduce the pressure mounted by Buruj FC.
Luckily they were able to utilize their chances when the centre referee award a penalty after one of their defenders got hacked by Buruj FC forward.
The first goal of Future Stars give ways for more when Buruj Defender Kehinde Daniel failed to manover accurate pass to the mid-fielders. Their Striker quickly utilize the chance to score their second goal.
The game becomes more interesting with both teams trying hard to get a winning goal prior to the completion of the second half.
Luckily for Future Stars FC they got their third goal via a beautiful crossing to beat Buruj FC goal Keeper Horlah into the net.
This awakens Buruj FC as Adeolu Afolayan scored the third equalizing goal for the team.
Both team continues to press forward to score a winning goal.

Commenting on the outcome of the match Buruj FC CEO Dr. Waheed Buruj enthused “The match is a skill test organized to test the readiness of our players ahead of the NLO One season, moreso it was an avenue to acquire more players to fortify the team via thorough screening.
