A Day after Ogbomoso United FC suffered their heaviest defeat in history, losing 3-0 to SGFC Athletics Sports in Ilorin in a week 5 NLO One game, the General Manager of the club Shittu Ismail as tendered his sincere apologies to the Chairman Hon Akinwale Akinwole Wolekanle, the esteem fans of Ogbomoso United and the entire Ogbomoso people at large.
Shittu while addressing newsmen this morning at the team training ground said, yesterday result was a shock, we prepared so hard for this game, we had a great performance for 60 mins despite the poor level of officiating, the last 30mins we were so poor defensively. We have seen our mistakes and I promise it will be corrected in our next game.
Shittu also took time to appreciate the Club Chairman Hon Wolekanle for the trust he has in the management and promise to do everything to bring back promise ticket.
Meanwhile Coach Ogundeji Joel has sent a warning signal to all players and charges them to sit up as the season progresses. Coach Ogun’s after training give reasons why 8 players was dropped from the current squad, he pleaded with the remaining players to be more committed and dedicated to the club, he also apologize to the management, fans and the good people of Ogbomoso.
