Talent abounds and as such, they are everywhere around us. Playing in the fourth-tier league in the country for the Remo Comets team who found themselves jostling for wins against “big boys” and trying to stand out is a big struggle.
Abiola Oreoluwa, a player for the Remo Stars U13 team was seen bossing the midfield as the captain of Remo Comets and the player explains that he didn’t expect to be playing in the league already.
“I feel good captaining the team. I didn’t really think I would be playing in the NLO 2 but I had to motivate myself,” he told Sports247.
“I like Messi because I use my left foot and I want to be better than him as well,” the lad added. He captained his side to a 3-2 win over Synergy FC in the Nationwide League One Division two.
