Following his side’s 4-2 loss to Atlantic Business FC in Match Day 3 of the ongoing NLO 2 season, Coach of Chariot of Fire FC, Nkechi has stated that his team lost the match due to some defensive errors at the back.
Chariot of fire FC lost 4-2 to Atlantic Business FC on Wednesday in Match Day 3 of the NLO 2 season, to further compound the woes of Nkechi’s side who has now lost all three of their matches played in the competition.
Speaking with Sports 247 after his team’s loss, the Nigerian Ex International, Nkechi expressed his frustration at his team’s poor defensive displays, admitting that it was the major factor that cost them the game.
“We were supposed to win this match quite alright, but due to some errors at the back and some poor defensive displays, that was why we lost the game”, he admitted.
While still speaking with Sports 247, Nkechi stated that even though his team has lost all its matches so far, they will pick a point from the remaining two matches left in the competition.
“We know we have lost all our games in the league, but by the Grace of God, I believe that the remaining two games left in the competition, we are going to pick a point”, he assured.
