Former Super Falcons striker, Perpetua Nkwocha Nwufoh has added another angle to her appearance at the 2018 Confederation of African Football (CAF) awards, as she is celebrating with all the winners.
Sports247.ng can report that Nkwocha was excited with the privilege of presenting the Best Women Team of The Year award to Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Melvin Amaju Pinnick.
While it might have been a coincidence for the four time African Women Footballer of The Year to present the prize won by her former team to the president of her country’s football federation, Nkwocha appreciated.
She, however, looked beyond the fact that it turned out to be the only award Nigeria won on the night in Dakar, Senegal, with the country not able to win spots in best female player, best young player and women coach of the year.
Rather than sulk, Nkwoche took to social media to celebrate with all the winners, as she basked in the euphoria of her night out with the icons of African football in the Senegalese capital.
Nkwocha stated: “Award night. Celebrating the African Icons. Caf Award. Congratulations to the Winners.”
