The president of Nigeria Hockey Federation (NHF), Senator Abdul Ningi has expressed satisfaction that the body was able to come out with pass marks in hosting the recent Africa Hockey Cup.
Ningi noted in a chat with sports247.ng that the continental clubs event was brought to Nigeria to see how organised the hockey federation is.
However, Ningi insists the championship was a successful expedient that was achieved in grand style by the NHF.
Ningi enthused: “We were able to host a championship that met all top grade international levels.
“Now that we have passed that test, we now forward to more of such events to be hosted and organised by Nigeria.”
