The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, in celebration of his 59th birthday.
In a statement personally signed by Nimrod, the NVBF President lauded Adeniyi’s unwavering commitment to the growth of volleyball in Nigeria, particularly through his support and sponsorship of the 2024 CGC Volleyball Premier League.
“Today, we celebrate you not just as a distinguished leader in the Nigeria Customs Service but as a passionate advocate for volleyball development in Nigeria. Your investment in the sport has been transformative,” Nimrod stated.
He commended Adeniyi’s efforts in supporting youth programs, noting the CGC’s pivotal role in providing equipment such as balls, nets, and antennas to the 24 clubs in the Premier League.
This initiative, he said, has significantly boosted talent identification and development across the country.
Nimrod expressed his confidence in Adeniyi’s continued impact, wishing him success, good health, and the fulfillment of his goals. He concluded by praising the CGC’s visionary leadership and philanthropic spirit, which have inspired progress in both public service and sports development.
