In a significant stride towards the highly anticipated 2023 Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10km Road Race, Nilayo Sports Management, in conjunction with sponsors and key stakeholders, has unveiled the meticulously planned race routes.

The event, slated for September 9, has garnered substantial excitement and promises to be a sporting spectacle.
The inspection committee commenced their route assessment at the iconic MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, before proceeding to the vibrant Oloke Junction (Iyana Oloke).
This pivotal junction serves as a vital link connecting the Government Residential Area, Ibara, to numerous surrounding suburbs.
Marking the starting point for Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10km Road Race on an eventful day, Oloke Junction holds particular significance for students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and residents of neighboring areas.
The meticulously designed course will witness its inaugural water station at Oluwo Junction, another bustling crossroad. Runners will then journey to the 2.5-kilometer mark, strategically positioned opposite the well-known Domino’s Pizza building.
The energetic course continues to kilometer three, where the bustling Omida Market awaits. Here, residents, enthusiastic market-goers, and traders will gather to cheer on the dedicated runners as they pass through.
The course then presents the iconic and vibrant Sapon Flyover, a visually appealing segment for both participants and spectators.
The route further takes runners through the scenic Itoko, Adatan roundabout, ultimately culminating at the finish line positioned at the distinguished palace of the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
