Nigeria’s women’s 4x100m relay team has been drawn against Jamaica, Great Britain, and France in their heat at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Other competitors in Heat 2 include the Netherlands, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, and Spain.

The Nigerian team, comprising Rosemary Chukwuma, Olajide Olayinka, Ofili Favour, and Tima Godbless, will aim to replicate past successes.
The last time Nigeria won a medal in this event was at the Beijing 2008 Olympics, where the quartet of Franca Idoko, Halimat Ismaila, Gloria Kemasuode, and Oludamola Osayomi secured a bronze medal.
Nigerian fans are hopeful that the current team can deliver another magical performance and bring home a medal. The heats are scheduled for Friday, with the final set to take place on Saturday.
