Under the guidance of Coach Emeka Nnamani, the under-18 team exhibited a dominant performance, setting the tempo early on with a commanding 22-6 lead in the first half against Benin Republic.

They continued their onslaught in the second half, securing an impressive 45-19 victory. Mohammed Mustapha emerged as the standout player of the match, contributing significantly to Nigeria’s success.
Meanwhile, the under-20 team, led by veteran coach Fidelis Obi, displayed a similar level of dominance against Liberia.
They asserted their authority with a commanding 33-7 lead in the first half, eventually sealing a comprehensive 61-19 victory over their opponents.
Looking ahead, Nigeria’s under-18 team is set to face host nation Ghana in their next fixture on Wednesday, aiming to maintain their winning momentum.
On the other hand, the under-20 team will eagerly await their match against Benin Republic on Thursday, seeking to build on their impressive start to the tournament.
