AC Milan has secured the signing of talented Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, in a significant transfer deal from Spanish La Liga side Villarreal.

According to an official statement released on AC Milan’s website, Chukwueze has inked a five-year contract with the Serie A giants, solidifying his place in the team until 30 June 2028.
The eagerly anticipated move has been finalized for a reported fee of €28 million, inclusive of add-ons.
Delighted to have acquired the services of the young and promising forward, AC Milan announced the arrival of Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal CF.
The 24-year-old Nigerian, born in Umuahia on 22 May 1999, honed his skills at the Diamond Football Academy Youth Sector before making a move to Villarreal in 2017.
Chukwueze showcased his potential with Villarreal’s B team, featuring in 20 games and finding the net four times. His impressive performances earned him a promotion to the senior squad, where he made his debut in September 2018.
Over the course of his tenure with the Spanish club, the talented winger made 207 appearances, amassing an impressive goal tally of 37. His contributions were instrumental in Villarreal’s success, notably helping them secure the Europa League title.
With the completion of this exciting transfer, Samuel Chukwueze is now officially part of AC Milan’s esteemed roster, and he is set to don the coveted number 21 jersey.
The Nigerian winger follows in the footsteps of other notable compatriots like Taribo West, Taye Taiwo, and Nnamdi Oduamadi, who have previously represented AC Milan.
