Nigerian youth international Akinkunmi Amoo has won the Swedish Cup with Hammarby IF, Sports247 reports.
The former Golden Eaglets’ star was brought on in the 60th minute of the final against Godswill Ekpolo’s BK Haecken.
After a goalless regulation time plus 30 minutes of extra time, the game headed to penalty shoutout where Hammarby emerge 5-4 winners.
Amoo scored four goals in six matches for Hammarby en route to the final. The 18-years old left-footed winger has been drawing admiring glances for his fine performances in Sweden.
He has 3 goals and 1 assist in 8 Swedish Allsvenskan appearances this season where Hammarby occupies 8th position.
