Former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olufemi Olaseni Joshua has been hit with a daring challenge from a largely unexpected source, as maverick singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus (aka Portable) wants to fight him for N100m.
Sports247 gathered that, in what becomes his latest unconventional outburst, ‘Portable’ declared in a video post on social media after beating another controversial singer, Speed Darlington, that he will readily enter the ring to fight ‘AJ’ if he is offered enough money for a bout.

The outspoken singer, who laces his songs with local slangs and back street clichés, is still basking in the aura of his second round stoppage victory over Darlington on Friday night, in a bout tagged ‘Chaos In The Ring’ at Balmora Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Although he has no experience of professional boxing and looked rusty during Friday’s exhibition fight, Portable, who shot to limelight in 2021 with his Zazzoo Zeh hit song, which featured an energetic intro by ace afrobeats rapper, Olamide, admitted he would be fighting for the money rather than a chance to prove the power in his fists.
“Bring Anthony Joshua … me and Anthony Joshua, let us fight for 100m. I don’t want to fight again, but if he places the money, 100m, I will take it. It’s money I’m looking for now.
“I am still strong, and I am not tired. I can still throw punches. They say I can’t throw punches, and they called me to a fight. So, I showed them. Set the money, 100m,” Portable blurted in a mixture of smattering English laced with Yoruba.
