German Bundesliga club 1.FSV Mainz 05 is launching another big event in Nigeria in cooperation with Mees Palace Football Academy this coming Sunday. The event will take place at the academy’s premises in Jos, Plateau State, on May 9th.
It will feature digital milestones like a digital coaching and training session with Coaches from Mainz 05, a Q&A about the philosophy in their youth department and what it takes to become a player at their club as well as a friendly game between our Kids in Mainz 05 Kits and others in Mees Palace Kits at D’Cathedral.
Mees Palace Football Academy (MPFA) Founder and president, Emmanuel Adukwu, termed Mainz 05 as the ‘perfect partner’ for such great initiatives.
“We are delighted to have Mainz 05 as our partner for such a unique event, especially in such challenging times. The world recognizes how consistent the club has been over the years with its performances in the German Bundesliga. Its renowned knack for developing young players is unparalleled and is something we at Mees Palace resonate with.“
“ Our goal is to develop Nigerian footballers for the world stage and such initiatives help us and especially our kids and coaches. We have a long way to go, but these steps help build a strong foundation,” said Adukwu.
