A board member of Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF), Sunny Ajayi has stated that the country’s national team is now endowed with more exposure, which he believes will make them more formidable in 2019.
Ajayi told sports247.ng that the Nigerian cricket team was a lot busier in the outgoing year, which he believes means they will no longer face the fear of international opponents.
He went on to predicted that the players will not be shocked when they play international matches again due to the exposure they have received as well as because of completion of the Abuja Cricket Oval.
Ajayi noted: “Before now Nigerian cricketers play on hard surface not natural turf wicket but, with the Abuja oval, the situation will change.”
