Nigerian Boxer, Bolatito Set For World Title This Weekend In New Zealand

The countdown is over as Nigeria’s Oluwole Bolatito aka Black Tito is set to take on the Champion Lani Daniel, ‘The Smiling Assassin’ of New Zealand on Saturday 7 September 2024, for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) women’s world light-heavyweight title.

The bout will be coming up on Saturday night, September 7th, 2024 at the Claudelands Arena, Hamilton, New Zealand.

Bolatito will be fighting against the odds challenging Daniel for the IBF light heavy weight title in the bout scheduled for 10 rounds of 2 mins per round.

The undefeated Nigerian Boxer, whose impressive boxing record of Nine wins out of nine fights, including five knock out is confident of getting the job done despite fighting Daniels in her home country.

“My confidence is 100 per cent for this fight,I am here just to get in the ring and get it done”, Bolatito told reporters when she arrived in the country ahead of the fight over a week ago.

Bolatito’s opponent, Lani Daniel is a two-division world champion and the IBF Light Heavyweight, with boxing record of 10 fights 8 wins and 2 losses with just one knock out win.

Bolatito Oluwole is ranked 1st in IBF, 1st in WBO, 5th on Boxrec, 6th in WBA and currently holds the Kenyan national Cruiserweight title, one of three professional boxing national champions in the world who is a female cruiserweight champion.
