Team captain of the current Nigeria Golden Eaglet Samson Okikiola Tijani has complete a move from Collins Edwin Fc to F.c Red Bull Salzburg.
A reliable source informed Topsportsafrik that the five years deal is estimated to be about 1.5 million euro for the 18 years Nigeria promising defensive midfielder.
It may be recall that Samson Tijani led by example as his brace inspired Nigeria to a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Hungary in the just concluded Under 17 world in Brazil.
However Danish Clubside FC Midtjylland were prepared to pay 600,000 euros and Club Brugge wanted to pay 1,000,000 euro
for the services of Tijani but the central midfielder’s camp turned down the offers with the hope that his transfer fee will skyrocket after the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup which resulted to a rife between the player’s club, agent and the father.
FC Red Bull Salzburg is an Austrian football club based in Wals-Siezenheim.
Their home ground is the Red Bull Arena. Due to sponsorship restrictions, the club is known as FC Salzburg and wears a modified crest when playing in UEFA competitions.
