Sports247.ng has been reliably informed that referees under the Nigeria Volleyball federations will be converging in Abuja from the 23rd of November 2018 for a technical meeting.
This piece of information was made available to Sports247 by the Secretary General of the NVBF Mallam Adamu Maikano in his office.
He said the meeting of the referees became necessary because of the forth-coming National sports festival and also to review the performance of the body after hosting two major tournaments in the past three months.
Volleyball in Nigeria has improved tremendously after the election of Musa Nimrod as president in 2017. Nigeria has since featured in several championships in Africa across all age grade and the recent introduction of a Volleyball league
