The League Management Committee (LMC) of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has officially released the fixtures for the 2024 National Division 1 and 2 Volleyball Leagues’ final phase, which is set to take place in Umuahia, Abia State, from October 10th to 20th.
In a virtual draw held on Monday, October 7, 2024, Martin Melandi, the NVBF Technical Director, along with club representatives, outlined the matchups for the 20 participating clubs.
The Division 1 matches will begin on October 11th, following a technical meeting on the same day, while Division 2 matches will commence on October 12th.

Some of the opening day fixtures in Division 1 include:
– LifeCamp VC vs Sword VC
– NAF Rockets vs G-RANK
– Oluyole Spikers vs UCEM of Enugu
– Katsina United VC vs Safety Spikers
In Division 2, the title race kicks off with matches such as:
– Caliphate Spikers vs Defence Spikers
– Bayelsa United VC vs Delta Force
– Wikki Spikers vs Jewel Spikers
– Osun Spikers vs Ajase Ipo
The final phase, hosted in conjunction with the Abia State Government, highlights Abia State’s growing commitment to sports development.
Governor Dr. Alex Otti, a key supporter of the initiative, aims to transform the state into a volleyball hub in Southern Nigeria.
The competition promises thrilling action as top clubs like LifeCamp VC, former champions, and NAF Rockets, current league leaders, battle it out for supremacy.
The event also serves as a major opportunity for teams in Division 2, such as newcomers Bayelsa United, to make their mark.
