The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NBBF) has released it’s 2021 National League Programme of events.
In a statement signed by the Secretary-General of the NVBF, Ngozi Mayo said the first phase of the Nigeria Premier League will take place from 5th to 15th April 2021 at Kwara state.
The statement further read that the second place will hold from 25th November to 5th December in a venue yet to be decided by the NVBF.
According to the statement made available to journalists, the first phase of the National Division one league will take place at Ogun state from 5th to 15th April 2021 while the second phase is scheduled for 14th to 24th October 2021 in Bauchi.
The statement read that it is mandatory for each team to come with an accompany referee and be responsible for them at all competitions or attract a fine of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000).
It said that the registration fee per Team/Club is fifty thousand Naira (N50, 000.00) and five thousand Naira (N5. 000.00) per player adding that a team must comprise a maximum of 20 players.
The Board of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation has approved the commencement of 2021 National League as stated below:
1) 31st January to March 2021 (Registration of Clubs/Players – NVBF Secretariat Abuja).
2) 5th to 15th April 2021 (Division 1, Phase 1 in Ogun).
3) 20th – 30th April 2021 ( Premier Phase 1 in Ilorin)
4) 14th to 24th October 2021 (Division 1 Final in Bauchi).
5) 25th November to 5th December (Premier League Final – TBD)
