Nigeria’s beach soccer national team, Super Sand Eagles coach, Audu Adamu Ejo has admitted he is worried that his side have not opened camp ahead of the Africa championship in Egypt.
With barely three weeks to go before the African Beach Soccer Nations Cup in Cairo, ‘Ejo’ stated in a chat with sports247.ng that he is worried that his team’s camping programme is yet to begin.
‘Ejo,’ however, stated further that he is now used to the notorious ‘fire brigade approach’ Nigeria often gives in preparation for competitions and believes his side will still pull through.
He added: “I am a bit worried that we are yet to open camp, but, at the same time, I am now to used rushing through national team programs.
“I have already got the nod from the Nigeria Football Federation that camping will begin soon and arrival of players should be by weekend.”
