The Nigeria Sports Journo Youngies, NSJY have officially unveiled their logo as the group gets set to form a major fulcrum of the Nigeria Sports reportage scene while engaging in football matches.
The logo which was unveiled this Friday on Twitter has the group’s official colour as Black and Gold with the design entailing a stadium, microphone, insignia, and stars which represents the profession of the group.
Group coordinator, Areo Samuel while speaking during the unveiling said their aim is not to break away from any sports association in the country as the objective is still to remain united with all.
“We are not a breakaway group, in fact, we are only here to play football and have fun”, he said.
“This idea was conceived when we had a little chat with the SWAN Selected Football team to engage them in a match and we thought it would be nice to keep the flag going”, he continued.
“We remain one body in Nigeria’s Sports reportage and we respect the elders ahead of us. Together we would take the Nigeria sports scene to an enviable height”, he concluded.
NSJY, if all things are agreed upon will hope to play its first match against SWAN Selected team this March.
