In view of the challenges match officials encounter while trying to get at match venues, Members of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, have been urged to be conscious of their safety all the time.
President of the NRA, Otunba Tade Azeez, who said the leadership understands the encumbrances has said that the present situation warrants extreme careful measures from those moving to match locations.
He said that the welfare of the members remains uppermost in the lineup of the Association’s programs stating that procedures for a better refereeing climate are on.
Otunba Tade Azeez reminded those on NPFL and NNL duties as well the women league of this midweek to insist on the laws of the game and Competition Rules.
While asking for compliance to Covid 19 preventive protocols, he prayed for journey mercies and God’s guidance to all referees on transit.
