Following Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) victory against Spartan Spikers of Yola by three sets to two, Assistant coach of the team, Kayode Ajilore has spoken about how happy he is for such a big feat as he boasts they have what it takes to win the volleyball league.
Ajilore admitted the win brought a lot of happiness because, “during the first phase, they defeated us and we really prepared so hard that the second phase will not repeat itself and the players played to instructions, the result came in our favor, it was a great victory.”
On thier title charge, Ajilore confidently stated that they are good enough, “we have what it takes to lift the division one league trophy, with the result of today’s game today, we can see that Spartan Spikers Volleyball FC are one of the strongest team in the division one, with this result, we are equal to the task to lift the trophy.”
On the Calibre of players in the team if he would like to add more, he said, “I’m okay with this team but definitely I believe after now, there might be a little kind of reshuffle.”
“We will look out for other players to lift and strengthen the team for the Premier League which I believe we are going there,” he concluded.
