The Nigeria’s horse week 2020 program tagged Master class: “Unlocking the Economic Potential of the Nigeria Horse Sport Industry” which is scheduled to kick off on 13th March, 2020 (Abuja) is set to begin with a host of events with Nigeria Equine Industry Awards kicking off the event.
Project Director, Doctor Anthony Obiora revealed that we haven’t been able to tap into this magnificent creature’s capacity to bring in relation with other sectors of the economy such as the cultural, agricultural, tourism impacts events as this can bring.
Endorsed by Lagos State Government, the event is opened to all sports horse enthusiast across Nigeria who wish to participate including platform of sponsorships to interested sponsors.
“Horse business can generate billions of naira, UK, USA, Australia and our African neighbor, South Africa are a perfect example of how horses can be a unifying factor, means of generating revenue for government, owners and sponsors, Anthony explained as he solicits for turnout and support from passionate individuals and bodies.
