Nigeria Gets 2 Female Referees For AWCON 2018 Training

Two Nigerian referees, Ndidi Peace Madu and Mimisen Agatha Iyorhe, are set to take part in the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON 2019) training course, footballlive.ng has gathered.

Madu, a center referee, and Iyorhe, an assistant referee, are among 32 female match officials selected to undergo the training in preparation for the continental tournament in Ghana.
The course is billed for October 17th to 21st in Cape Coast, Ghana, which is one of the venues for the 11th edition of the biennial African women’s championship, scheduled for November 17 to December 1.
The roll call for the training programme has 16 referees and 16 assistant referees from 25 member associations, including the two Nigerians.
