In the Ex-International Cup, FC Nwosu edged out FC Amoo 11-10 in a dramatic penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw in regular time, but for coach Fatai Folorunsho Amoo, the match was about more than just the scoreline.

He said the tournament is a testament to the competitive spirit and passion for football that unites former and upcoming players alike.

Coach Fatai Amoo, reflecting on the tournament, praised its purpose and execution.

“It’s been a very interesting tournament with a clear objective that we are fulfilling.

“Despite a few minor issues, which I believe will be addressed in coming editions, it’s been a positive experience for both the Ex-Internationals and the young players who have had the chance to showcase their talents,” Fatai Amoo stated.
